SEASON’S GREETINGS -- THE BEST GIFTS ARE FREE – IT’S ALL ABOUT FAITH!!!

Hello, Everyone!

I hope that your Thanksgiving was great.  Mine wasn’t bad at all.  I used the extra time to get some necessary work accomplished.

Now that the Holiday Season is in full swing, let’s not forget the less fortunate.  With the present state of the international economy, it may be hard.  My own job assignment was cut short due to budgetary issues with my agency’s client.  Alas, I’m not going to let it get the best of me.  I’m simply going to “regroup” and “reprioritize” my spending until my cash flow returns to normal.  When this will be, I’m not sure, but I’m determined to make it happen as soon as possible.  After all, I’m a Roman Catholic and we do believe in divine intervention and miracles. I’ve already prayed about it and I’m certainly going to do my part to make it happen.

What I’m truly thankful for is having caring and understanding family and friends in my life.  There’s no way that I could make it without them.  Their presence in my life is priceless!!!  Maintaining a sound mind and body during such uncertain times is also another blessing.  I’m not going to lie, 2008 has not been one of my best years, but I’m confident that 2009 will be better because I have learned some valuable lessons from adversity.  Lately, I’ve been noticing an increased number of young adults on the streets and they look like “ten miles of bad road”.  I sincerely pray that their fortunes will improve because living like that is very dangerous.

Regardless of how the economy flip-flops, people are still the most valuable asset our country has.  Without our strong beliefs and determination to succeed, America would have never accomplished all that it has.  Of course, I do believe that GOD had a tremendous hand in our development and our Founding Fathers acknowledged that we are indeed “one nation created under GOD”.  The financial markets may go up and down, but reinvigorating the average American Worker is the key to regaining our economic stability.  A healthy economy needs consumers with “healthy, stable” incomes to keep it afloat.  When so many consumers became unable to service their debts, the whole financial system started to unravel.  Fixing this mess won’t be easy and it may get worse before it gets better, but I have enough faith in GOD to believe that it can be done.  Our survival as a nation depends upon it!!!

May Peace Be With All Of You,
